Prepare Green Chutney:

-Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) handful

-Podina (Mint leaves) handful

-Hari mirch (Green chillies) 3-4

-Lehsan (Garlic) cloves 3

-Lemon juice 2 tbs

-Chaat masala 1 tsp

-Himalayan pink salt ½ tsp or to taste

-Zeera (Cumin seeds) 1 tsp

-Ice cube 1 large

Prepare Potato Filling:

-Aloo (Potatoes) boiled 4 medium

-Shimla mirch (Capsicum) chopped ¼ Cup

-Pyaz (Onion) chopped ¼ Cup

-Hari mirch (Green chilli) chopped ½ tbs

-Lal mirch (Red chilli) crushed 1 tsp

-Chaat masala 1 tsp

-Himalayan pink salt 1 tsp or to taste

-Zeera (Cumin seeds) roasted & crushed 2 tsp

-Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) chopped handful


-Bread slices large 8

-Mayonnaise as required

-Olper’s Cheddar cheese slices as required

-Makhan (Butter) 1 tbs



Prepare Green Chutney:

-In a blender,add fresh coriander,mint leaves,green chillies,garlic,lemon juice,chaat masala,pink salt, cumin seeds,ice cube,blend well & set aside.

Prepare Potato Filling:

-In a bowl,add potatoes & mash well with the help of masher.

-Add capsicum,onion,green chilli,red chilli crushed,chaat masala,pink salt,cumin seeds,fresh coriander,mix well & set aside.


-On a bread slice,add & spread mayonnaise & prepared potato filling (1-2 tbs).

-Place cheddar cheese slices (cut into triangles) & spread prepared green chutney on another bread slice & flip it to make a sandwich.

-In a frying pan,add butter & let it melt.

-Place prepared sandwich & toast from both sides until golden & crispy (makes 4).

-Cut into pieces & serve with tomato ketchup!
