Baisan Chicken

Ingredients:

  • Chicken ½ kg
  • Adrak paste (Ginger paste) 1 tbs
  • Lehsan paste (Garlic paste) 1 tbs
  • Lal mirch powder (Red chili powder) ½ tsp or to taste
  • Kali mirch powder (Black pepper powder) ¼ tsp
  • Garam masala powder ¼ tsp
  • Namak (Salt) ½ tsp or to taste
  • Anda (Egg) whisked 1
  • Cooking oil 1 Cup or as required
  • Baisan (Gram flour) sifted 1 Cup
  • Dahi (Yogurt) whisked ½ Cup
  • Lal mirch powder (Red chili powder) ½ tsp or to taste
  • Namak (Salt) ½ tsp or to taste
  • Dhania powder (Coriander powder) 1 tbs
  • Kali mirch powder (Black pepper powder) ¼ tsp
  • Zarda ka rang (Yellow food color) 1 pinch
  • Pani (Water) ½ Cup or as required
  • Pani (Water) 2 Cups or as required

Directions:

In bowl,add chicken,ginger,garlic,red chili powder,black pepper powder,garam masala powder,salt and egg and mix well & marinate for 30 minutes.

In pot,add cooking oil and fry marinated chicken until golden brown & set aside.

In remaining marinade,add gram flour,yogurt,red chili powder,salt,coriander powder,black pepper powder,yellow food color and whisk well.

Add water and whisk until well combined.

Again heat the remaining cooking oil,add prepared gram flour mixture and mix well.

Now add fried chicken and mix well.

Add water and mix well,cover & cook on low flame until chicken is tender and oil separates (12-15 minutes).
