-Tamatar (Tomatoes) 2 medium

-Gajar (Carrot) 1 medium

-Water ½ Cup or as required

-Darchini (Cinnamon sticks) 2

-Hari elaichi (Green cardamom) 2

-Laung (Cloves) 3-4

-Sabut kali mirch (Black peppercorns) 1 tsp

-Tez patta (Bay leaf) 1

-Cooking oil 2-3 tbs

-Pyaz (White onion) chopped 1 Cup

-Lehsan (Garlic) crushed 1 tbs

-Boneless chicken preferably thigh pieces 350g

-Paprika powder 1 tsp

-Namak (Salt) 1 & ½ tsp or to taste

-Chicken stock cubes 2 (optional)

-Water 2 litres or as required

-Instant oats ½ Cup

-Lemon juice 1 tbs

-Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) chopped 1 tbs

-Kali mirch (Black pepper) crushed

-In a blender jug,add tomatoes,carrot,water,blend well & set aside.

-In a bowl,place muslin cloth,add cinnamon sticks,green cardamom,cloves,black peppercorns,bay leaf & tie to make a potli (bouquet garni) & set aside.

-In a pot,add cooking oil,white onion & sauté until translucent.

-Add garlic & mix well for a minute.

-Add chicken & mix well until it changes color.

-Add paprika powder,salt,mix well & cook for 2-3 minutes.

-Add blended paste,mix well & cook on medium flame for 3-4 minutes.

-Add chicken stock cubes & mix well.

-Add prepared potli (bouquet garni),water,mix well & bring it to boil,cover & cook on low flame for 25-30 minutes.

-Remove & discard potli (bouquet garni) & turn off the flame.

-Mash the chicken with the help of masher.

-Turn on the flame,add instant oats,mix well & bring it to boil,cover & cook on low flame for 15-20 minutes.

-Add lemon juice,fresh coriander & mix well.

-Sprinkle black pepper powder,fresh coriander & serve hot!
