Banana Bread

  • Maida (All-purpose flour) 2 Cups
  • Namak (Salt) 2 pinches
  • Darchini powder (Cinnamon powder) 2 pinches
  • Baking powder 2 tsp
  • Banana ripe 5-6
  • Makhan (Butter) ½ Cup (room temperature)
  • Brown sugar powdered ¾ Cup
  • Anday (Eggs) 2 (room temperate)
  • Vanilla essence 1 tsp


In bowl,place sifter,add all-purpose flour,salt,cinnamon powder,baking powder,sift together and mix well & set aside.

Peel the bananas and mash well with the help of the fork & set aside.

In bowl,add butter and whisk well.

Add brown sugar,eggs and whisk well.

Add mashed banana,vanilla essence and whisk well.

Gradually add flour mixture and fold with the help of the spatula.

Grease 9 x 3 inch loaf pan with butter,place butter paper and grease again with butter.

Now pour prepared batter and tap for 2-3 times on working counter.

Bake in preheated oven at 160 C for 60-65 minutes.
