Creamy Chicken Mayo Crepe Roll

Ingredients:

Prepare Creamy Chicken Filling:

  • Cooking oil 2-3 tbs
  • Chicken qeema (Mince) 400g
  • Lehsan paste (Garlic paste) 1 tsp
  • Kali mirch powder (Black pepper powder) ½ tsp
  • Lal mirch (Red chilli) crushed 1 tsp
  • Namak (Salt) 1 tsp or to taste
  • Italian herbs 1 tsp
  • Gajar (Carrots) chopped ½ Cup
  • Shimla mirch (Capsicum) chopped ½ Cup
  • Olper’s Dairy Cream ½ Cup
  • Mayonnaise 3 tbs
  • Fresh parsley chopped 1-2 tbs

Prepare Crepes:

  • Anday (Eggs) 2
  • Doodh (Milk) ½ Cup
  • Water 1 & ¼ Cup
  • Maida (All-purpose flour) sifted 1 & ¾ Cup
  • Namak (Salt) ½ tsp
  • Cooking oil 2 tbs

Assembling:

  • Cheddar cheese slices
  • Anday (Eggs) whisked 2
  • Breadcrumbs 1 Cup or as required
  • Cooking oil for frying

Directions:

Prepare Creamy Chicken Filling:

In a wok,add cooking oil,chicken mince & mix well until it changes color.

Add garlic paste & mix well.

Add black pepper powder,red chilli crushed,salt,Italian herbs,mix well & cook for 2-3 minutes.

Add carrots & mix well.

Add capsicum,mix well & cook for 2 minutes.

Add cream,mix well & cook for 4-5 minutes.

Add mayonnaise & mix well.

Add fresh parsley & mix well.

Let it cool.

Prepare Crepes:

In a bowl,add eggs,milk,water & whisk well.

Add all-purpose flour,salt & whisk until well combined.

Add cooking oil & whisk well.

Grease 9-inch frying pan with cooking oil,add 1/3 cup of prepared batter,spread evenly & cook on low flame from both sides until light golden.

Assembling:

Place cheddar cheese slice on one side of crepe,add prepared creamy chicken filling (2-3 tbs),fold all sides and roll it.

Dip into whisked egg & coat with breadcrumbs (makes 10-12).

Can be stored in freezer for up to 1 month.

In a wok,heat cooking oil and deep fry on medium flame until golden & crispy.

Bake in preheated oven at 200C for 18-20 minutes,brush oil on crepe rolls (flip in between once after 9-10 minutes).

Air fry in preheated air fryer at 200C for 10-12 minutes,brush oil on crepe rolls (flip in between once after 5-6 minutes).

Serve with tomato ketchup!
